Farsi-Speaking Caregiver Support Individuals with Disabilities in Their Homes & Communities A Bright Future, Inc. is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and Farsi-speaking Caregiver to provide one-on-one support to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
This position requires the ability to communicate fluently in Farsi, as you will support participants who primarily speak Farsi.
As a Caregiver, you will help individuals build independence, develop daily living skills, and participate safely in their communities while providing compassionate, person-centered support.
Position Overview The Farsi-Speaking Caregiver provides direct support and instruction to individuals with disabilities in their homes and throughout the community.
This role focuses on promoting independence, encouraging personal growth, and ensuring each participant's health, safety, and well-being.
Daily Living Support Provide one-on-one support in the participant's home and community. Assist with personal care and daily living activities as needed. Teach and reinforce independent living skills, including: Personal hygiene and self-care Meal preparation and nutrition Household cleaning and organization Laundry and home maintenance Time management and daily routines Encourage independence while providing appropriate supervision and assistance. Community Integration Support participants with: Grocery shopping and errands Medical and personal appointments Recreational and community activities Social outings Public transportation training (when applicable) Promote confidence, independence, and community engagement. Health & Safety Ensure participant health and safety at all times. Follow individualized support plans. Provide medication reminders (as trained and permitted). Observe and report changes in health, behavior, or emotional well-being. Utilize positive behavior support techniques and de-escalation strategies when necessary. Documentation & Communication Complete accurate documentation, including: Daily service notes Goal progress updates Incident reports, when applicable Communicate professionally with supervisors, team members, families, and other members of the participant's support team. Maintain participant confidentiality and comply with all agency and state regulations.
Required Must be fluent in Farsi (speaking required). Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, current auto insurance, and vehicle registration (if driving participants). Negative TB test. DOJ fingerprint clearance prior to employment. CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening. Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a passion for supporting individuals with disabilities. Experience No caregiving experience required. Paid training provided before working independently with participants. Ongoing coaching, training, and professional development available. Compensation $19.15 per hour Why Join A Bright Future?
