About the role

The role involves preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals and performing nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures. Additionally, the technologist is responsible for equipment maintenance, radiation safety surveys, and processing documentation via PACS and VISTA.

Overview Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting multiple Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System located at 6900 N Pecos Rd, North Las Vegas, NV 89086.

Various shifts schedules are available.

Responsibilities

Prepare, calibrate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals. Perform nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures. Analyze studies and notify physicians of significant findings. Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment. Conduct radiation safety surveys, wipe tests, and dosimetry activities. Process images and documentation using PACS, VISTA, and CPRS. Perform scheduling, patient registration, and administrative duties. Train students and clinical staff. Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement programs.

Qualifications

High School Diploma NMTCB (CNMT) or ARRT (N) certification. A minimum of one (1) year of proven clinical experience in a Level 1 hospital setting is preferred Maintain active AHA BLS certification No sponsorship available All candidates must be able to: Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist Lift up to 20 lbs Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance Push/pull with 30 lbs of force All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.

Requirements

Candidates must have a High School Diploma and NMTCB (CNMT) or ARRT (N) certification. Active AHA BLS certification is required, and one year of clinical experience in a Level 1 hospital is preferred.
