Gateways to Change is a non-profit agency providing services to adults with developmental and physical disabilities in residential and community settings. We are looking for a dedicated and committed Direct Support Workers who are striving to make a difference in the lives of the individuals we serve. Help individuals acquire and maintain skills to improve their daily-living, and socialization skills. Provide In-Home and Community Based support to individuals Assist individuals with achieving a variety of goals in the home and local community Transport individuals to medical appointments, personal shopping, and recreation activities Assist in toileting, dressing, and hygiene Administration of medication Cultivate safe and supportive relationships Be creative, organized, and efficient Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and bring fun to the job Working independently and with staff
Must have a valid driver's license and existing insurance, registrations & inspection Must provide a criminal background check with no disqualifying offenses Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
