Perform a wide scope of minor interventional radiology procedures and provide direct patient care services including inpatient consults and rounding. Responsibilities also include diagnosing illnesses, interpreting radiographic studies, and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals.
Southwest Medical Imaging Ltd. (SMIL) is currently seeking a Physician Assistant to work in the Interventional Radiology section.
This hospital-based position involves working with nine IR Physicians and seven other Physician Assistants.
Southwest Medical Imaging (SMIL) is a 70+ highly subspecialized radiology practice based in Scottsdale, AZ.
In addition to owning and operating nearly 20 outpatient imaging centers in the Valley, we serve a healthcare network consisting of 6 hospitals.
SMIL has a strong reputation of clinical excellence and superior service in all areas of imaging and intervention.

We have our own resources dedicated to providing immediate IT and communications support to our physicians, imaging centers, and our hospital system.
The salary range for this position is $135,000 - $160,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Candidates must be graduates of an ARC accredited PA program with active NCCPA certification, DEA license, Arizona state license, and BLS/ACLS certification. Prior experience in Interventional Radiology, Surgery, or Emergency Medicine is preferred.
