The physical therapist is responsible for autonomously evaluating patients and establishing treatment goals. They provide clinical services and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to integrate care plans.

The physical therapist will assume autonomous responsibility for evaluating patient’s need for physical therapy.
Providing treatment and services within the scope of their license, certification or registration and as required by law and regulation.
Evaluation and clinical diagnosis of patient conditions.
Establish treatment goals utilizing input from patient and their family as appropriate Documentation remains in accordance with established internal/external timeliness standards, insurance standards, and reimbursement guidelines.
Participates as a part of an interdisciplinary and patient-centered care team which includes the verbal and written exchange of information with other healthcare team members as it pertains to integrate a physical therapy treatment plan

Candidates must hold a Doctorate or equivalent professional degree in Physical Therapy and a valid State of Michigan license. BLS certification and FSBPT certification are also required.
