Description We are expanding and just opened a new office in the Citrus Park area off Gunn and the Vets.
We need to add to our staff.
Our offices are very busy and our Medical Assistant position is not boring.
We recently have joined with Tampa General Hospital to provide urology services to the Tampa Bay community so we are expanding and need your help!
This is a fast paced position so experience would be helpful.

Escort patients to exam rooms, interviews patients, measure vital signs, including weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and document all information in patient’s chart Give instructions to patients as instructed by physician or physician assistant Ensure all related reports, labs and information is filed is available inpatients’ medical records prior to their appointment Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintain instruments, prepare sterilization as required Take telephone messages and provide feedback and answers to patient/physician/pharmacy calls Triage and process messages from patients and front office staff to physicians and physician assistants Maintain all logs and required checks (i.e. refrigerator temperatures, emergency medications, expired medications, oxygen, cold sterilization fluid change, etc.) Epic experience is always beneficial Bilingual English/Spanish
We seek a Medical Assistant that has excellent organizational skills, is skilled at prioritizing tasks, and can communicate effectively, efficiently and in a timely matter with patients. Ability to perform phlebotomy and administer injections. We are looking for a team player that can help out with a smile on their face.
