About the role

Provides non-licensed clinical support including patient rooming, intake procedures, and documentation of vital signs within the EHR. Supports clinic operations by prepping rooms, stocking supplies, and conducting social drivers of health screenings.

Job Summary Provides non-licensed clinical and patient care support in the ambulatory setting under the direction of licensed personnel. Performs standardized patient intake procedures, screening activities, and documentation within the electronic medical record (EHR). Supports efficient patient flow, contributes to care team effectiveness, and promotes a safe, patient-centered environment. Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Job Responsibilities
  • Performs patient rooming and intake activities in alignment with ambulatory workflow standards
  • Obtains and accurately documents vital signs, height, weight, and the chief complaint
  • Conducts and records social drivers of health (SDOH) screenings according to established protocols
  • Supports efficient clinic operations by prepping rooms, stocking supplies, and assisting in patient flow
  • Participates in required training, continuing education, and competency activities
  • Completes assigned goals.

Experience Description Minimum Required Preferred/Desired

Education Minimum Required

Skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral and verbal format to achieve high productivity and efficiency. Skill to write legibly and record information accurately as necessary to perform job duties.

Training Minimum Required.

Enrolled in college or university.

Special Skills Minimum Required

Computer literacy.

Licensure

Minimum Required BLS within 14 days of hire.

Requirements

Requires candidates to be enrolled in a college or university and possess computer literacy. Must obtain BLS certification within 14 days of hire and demonstrate effective communication skills in English.
