Imagine being the reason This role functions as a member of the Inpatient Team bridging direct care and program leadership within the ICF program. This position models therapeutic interventions, promotes programming fidelity, assists with onboarding of new staff, and coordinates key youth-centered activities that support social-emotional development, clinical goals, and daily structure. This position is responsible for ensuring alignment with individual programming and contributing to a positive, structured, and engaging treatment environment. Why Choose Tanager?   • Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree (or ability to obtain within 6 months) in social work or a related human services field
  • At least six months experience working with children with an intellectual disability or other developmental disabilities
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work

  • If Current Certified Medication Management Certification or receive certification within 90 days of hire
  • If approved for driving on behalf of the agency- must be able to meet agency’s driver eligibility in order to safely transport youth to/from program and community activities as directed by the agency
  • Certified in MANDT, UKERU, CPR, and First Aid or the ability to be certified within 90 days of employment
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include scheduled nights, weekends, and holidays

Requirements

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in social work or a related human services field and at least six months of experience working with children with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Required certifications include MANDT, UKERU, CPR, and First Aid, or the ability to obtain them within 90 days.
