Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor and Delivery (L&D) and Postpartum
The Labor and Delivery and Postpartum Care Unit at Sentara Obici Hospital provides an exciting, fast-paced environment.
Our department is 22 beds, 10 L&D/Triage rooms and 12 Post Partum Rooms.
We also have a 20 room dedicated nursery.
Our unit provides the care of laboring patients from admission to discharge including labor and delivery, recovery, and postpartum care.
We also care for OBGYN surgical patients to include hysterectomies and mastectomies.
The ratio for L&D is 1:2 and for Postpartum is 1:6.
We are the top performing patient experience department at Obici. We frequently have daisy award winners. We are magnet designated and currently seeking an AWHONN designation as well.
