Assist radiologists by scrubbing in for procedures and monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data in the Angio/IR lab. Ensure the procedure room is prepared and maintain appropriate inventory levels for instruments and supplies.
Under the general direction of the physician (Radiologist), will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the Angio/IR lab. Ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure. Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies. Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff. Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive Angio/IR procedures.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. Licensure and Fluoroscopy permit as required by State. 2. ARRT-R as required by State. 3. Minimum 1 year of experience in Angio/Interventional Radiology department required. 4. Current BLS certification upon hire and maintain current. 5. ACLS certificate required upon hire. This compensation estimate is specific to California and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location.
