Responsibilities

Implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) Provide direct patient care focused on improving daily living skills, fine motor function, and upper extremity rehabilitation Document patient progress, treatment notes, and goal updates accurately and in a timely manner Collaborate with the OT and interdisciplinary team to adjust and progress patient care plans Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and adaptive strategies Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming therapy environment Participate in team meetings, continuing education, and clinic initiatives

Requirements

Active COTA licensure in the state of California (or eligibility to obtain) Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Current NBCOT certification in good standing Experience in an outpatient orthopedic or hand therapy setting is a plus Strong documentation and communication skills Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented clinic environment Minimum 2 years' experience About Us: Hands Plus Physical Therapy is a trusted specialty clinic in Santa Clarita, CA, dedicated to delivering exceptional rehabilitative care with a focus on hand, wrist, and upper extremity therapy.
