Perform outpatient weight and wellness consults and provide comprehensive care for bariatric patients. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create customized treatment plans and prescribe anti-obesity medications.
Tufts Medical Center Community Care is seeking a full-time Bariatric Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team of collaborative providers at our Tufts Medicine Weight & Wellness Center in Stoneham, MA. Join an established group of 3 physicians and 3 advanced practitioners in the most comprehensive bariatric surgery program in the region.
The ideal candidate will have experience with and/or a strong interest in bariatrics/weight management and be comfortable evaluating patients for metabolic conditions, creating customized treatment plans, and prescribing anti-obesity medications including GLP-1's in accordance with evidence-based protocols.

Graduate of an accredited and/or approved Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
Current license as a Physician Assistant or Registered Nurse/Nurse Practitioner in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Clinical experience in Bariatric Medicine/Weight Management is preferred.
Passionate about caring for a diverse population of Bariatric Medicine/Weight Management patients.
Curious, growth-oriented, and excited to help advance the field of obesity medicine through continuous learning, quality improvement and collaboration.
Current certification in CPR required.
A team player who is excited to work alongside the interdisciplinary team to assist in patient care, support, and satisfaction.

The base pay ranges reflect the minimum qualifications for the role. Must be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program with a current Massachusetts license and CPR certification. Clinical experience in Bariatric Medicine or Weight Management is preferred.
