Location: Centennial (Frsico, TX) Shift: FT Nights (12 hr shifts) RN candidates with Med Surg ICU experience preferred Intensive Care Unit Our Intensive Care Unit is a fast-paced environment that includes high acuity patients.

Intensive Care Unit Patient Population: Nephrology, Neurology, Endocrinology, Geriatrics, Surgical, Medical, Cardiology, pulmonology, Trauma and Gastrointestinal.

Patient Ratios: 1:2 Number of Beds: 12 Department Specifics: We are a small but mighty generalized ICU with training in specialty devices such as Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, Impella and CRRT.

This is a highly engaged team with a focus on high quality patient care and process improvement.

The team has a robust shared governance with decision-making opportunities that leads to department process improvements and multidisciplinary collaboration.

The hospital is Level III trauma, primary stroke center, and a primary heart attack center.

Qualifications

Grad of an Accredited Program Specialized field of study should be nursing. RN license. Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.

Requirements

Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with a valid RN license. BLS certification is required within 30 days of hire, and Med Surg ICU experience is preferred.
