• Shift: DayThe Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at Just 4 Kids Health will assess, plan, and provide care under the supervision of a physician. They will examine and treat patients to ensure proper injury care, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.
• Job duties primarily include the following: Assess and treat patient needs within an urgent care setting and triage patients to differentiate between immediate and less urgent care. Assess, plan, and treat patients under the supervision of a physician. Perform digital blocks, regional anesthesia, and minor outpatient surgical procedures. Participate in required education courses and perform CME credits to maintain license. Communicate patient needs, diagnosis, and course of treatment to the patient, as well as other clinical staff and instruct and educate patients about discharge instructions if applicable. Provide accurate and timely documentation to Just 4 Kids Urgent Care staff, insurance carriers, and companies. Maintain confidentiality with all patient information (HIPAA). • Practitioner position will: Hold a current license as a registered nurse if NP. Graduation with a masters degree from an accredited education program and successfully passing a certification exam. Must possess a current license to practice medicine in the state of ID and an active DEA license and State Controlled Substance Certificate. Knowledge of advanced medical terminology, basic emergency, pediatric and generalist procedures. Ability to use the necessary equipment such as the nebulizer, EKG machine, etc. Proven excellent quality and clinical standards. Current PALS certified Organizational and analytical skills necessary to maintain efficient workflow. Ability to adjust responsibilities to accommodate a fast-paced work environment wile maintaining excellent customer service and staff interactions.
