Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and pediatric surgical patients across diverse specialties in a state-of-the-art operating room environment. Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia providers to ensure patient safety and advocate for patients throughout their surgical journey.

Baystate Health is hiring an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team at Chestnut Outpatient Surgical Services at Baystate Medical Center, a Magnet-designated hospital recognized for nursing excellence.

Schedule

  • Schedule: Full-Time, 10 hour shifts, 40 hrs per week; rotating days
  • On-Call
  • Requirement: Participation in a rotating on-call schedule

Qualifications

  • Current Massachusetts RN license (or eligibility for licensure reciprocity)
  • American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider certification
  • Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required, preferably in surgical services
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Compensation

The compensation range(s) in the table below represent the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.

$41.82 - $54.06 - $66.30

Requirements

Requires a current Massachusetts RN license, BLS certification, and at least one year of RN experience, preferably in surgical services. An Associate Degree in Nursing is required, while a BSN is preferred.
