Responsibilities

Prepare the operating room, ensure the cleanliness of the environment, and confirm that all required equipment is functioning properly Assist in preparing the patient for surgery, which may involve verifying the patient's identity and surgical site, helping to position the patient on the operating table, and ensuring that all necessary pre-operative procedures are completed Document pertinent information before, during, and after the surgical procedure, such as the patient's vital signs, medications administered, and any other relevant details for the patient's medical record including specimens and implants

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING Current and valid state RN License Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current Current ACLS (AHA) certificate required Current PALS (AHA) certificate required Minimum of one year previous Perioperative experience required Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus: Certified Nurse OR (CNOR) Certification (AORN) Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. #LI-JO3 Company is an equal employment opportunity employer. Requirements

Candidates must hold a valid RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. A minimum of one year of perioperative experience is required, with a BSN or CNOR certification preferred.
