About the role

The therapist is responsible for conducting psychosocial assessments, facilitating daily patient groups, and managing discharge planning to reduce re-hospitalization. They also act as a liaison between patients, families, and community-based mental health agencies.

Our Therapist responsibilities include some of the following: · Psychosocial assessment of new patients; developing an update or detailed reassessment of the patient · Maintains contact with family and significant others in the patient’s life when appropriate and provides patient and family education, support, and advocacy · Provides coordination and acts as liaison with community based social and mental health agencies · Facilitates discharge planning and conducts post discharge follow-up to assure that linkage of the patient with community resources has occurred reducing re-hospitalization · Facilitate groups with patients daily · Facilitates discharge planning and conducts post discharge follow-up to assure that linkage of the patient with community resources has occurred reducing re-hospitalization Our benefits include the following: · Service excellence and fulfilling work environment. · 401(k) plan and company match · Health Insurance · Dental Insurance · Vision Insurance · Life Insurance · Paid Time Off · Supplemental Insurance Plans Available Please apply if you have the following qualifications: · Qualifications : Master’s degree from an accredited university in counseling, social work, psychology, rehabilitation, or related human services field.

Unrestricted Arkansas licensure required.

LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMSW, or LAC (preferred).

Will consider PLMSW or PLPC with stipulations. · Experience: At least one (1) year of related experience in a hospital setting with psychiatric experience preferred.

Two years’ experience working with children with serious emotional disturbances or substance abuse preferred (not required if holding an appropriate Master’s degree).

Experience with group work modalities and techniques.

Strong clinical judgment and organizational skills.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master's degree in a human services field and possess unrestricted Arkansas licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMSW, or LAC). At least one year of hospital-based psychiatric experience is required, with a preference for experience working with youth or substance abuse.
