Assists physicians in performing interventional radiology procedures and operates radiological equipment while maintaining quality control. Responsible for patient preparation, sterile technique during procedures, and managing medical records and supplies.
This is a full time role for an interventional radiology technologist in our Bellflower, CA surgery center.
We will consider new grads who have their ARRT, CA RT License and Fluoro. (Ideal new grad candidate will have exposure to vascular or IR procedures)
The center is open Monday through Saturday. You will be working 8 hour shifts.
You must be able to work 1 Saturday per month. On the week that you have to work Saturday, you can either work overtime or you can have one day off during the week.

Assists physicians in performing a variety of interventional radiology procedures. Responsible for the operation and quality control of the radiological equipment in accordance with the Organization’s policies, procedures, and training. Assists with the inventory and supply management.

The work environment is characteristic of a health care facility with air temperature control and moderate noise levels. May be exposed to infectious and contagious diseases/materials. Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds and to perform patient transfers and positioning of patients up to 400 pounds. Must be able to stand in a protective apron for up to 45-60 minutes.

High School Diploma required; Associate’s Degree desirable; and Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
Current ARRT Certification and/or State Licensure (as per state regulations)
Interventional Radiology certificate preferred.
