The Veterinary Assistant supports the medical team by prepping patients for exams and surgeries and administering medications. They are also responsible for maintaining medical records, performing lab tests, and ensuring the cleanliness of the facility.

You'll be a great fit if: You love animals (obviously) and have a calm, steady presence You’re a great communicator and work well with clients and teammates You’re organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable You’re cool under pressure and thrive in a busy hospital setting You’re eager to learn and grow in your role You value teamwork and know how to pitch in wherever you’re needed What you'll do: Keeping accurate medical records and helping answer client questions Prepping patients for exams and surgeries Administering medications as directed Assisting with lab testing (blood, fecal, urine, etc.) Cleaning and sanitizing surgical tools, kennels, and exam areas Monitoring post-op patients and reporting any changes Safely restraining patients during exams and procedures Helping educate pet parents on meds, treatments, and care Partnering with Credentialed Technicians and DVMs to provide top-tier care What's in it for you?
