Provide essential support to MRI technologists and radiologists to ensure patient safety and optimal care during imaging procedures. Responsibilities include patient screening, coil setup, and maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the MRI suite.

  • When you join RadNet as a ROCC (Remote Operations Command Centers) Technical Assistant, you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century and align all stakeholders- patients, providers, payors, and regulators to achieve the best clinical outcomes.
  • You Will: Provide assistance to MRI Steering Technologist, Radiologists and/or administrative staff to provide optimal MRI safety and patient care.
  • Convey patient history to the MRI Technologist for accurate MRI safety, assist MRI Technologists to ensure MRI safety, coil positioning, patient screening and/or history and patient observation during exams.
  • Support technologists with procedures as needed; which includes the set-up of coils, schedule maintenance, and/or clean-up of MRI suite Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
  • Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
  • Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
  • Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
  • Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
  • Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
  • Demonstrates ability to establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

  • To Ensure Success in This Role, You Must Have: High school diploma or equivalent BLS Certification At least one year experience in medical setting Completion of approved MR Technologist Assistant program, including hands-on clinical training Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, public relations and verbal and written communication Must be able to assist in lifting patients onto table We Offer: Comprehensive Medical, Dental and Vision coverages.

Requirements

Candidates must have a high school diploma, BLS certification, and completion of an approved MR Technologist Assistant program. At least one year of experience in a medical setting and the physical ability to lift patients are required.
