Qualifications

Age of Patients Served

• Adult (18-64 years) Geriatric (=>65 years)
• Required
• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Specific course work: Graduate of Cardiovascular Program, or in lieu of degree have 10+ years of experience in the
• Invasive
• Cath
• Lab
• Preferred
• Education: Graduate CVT program with a RCIS certification.
• Necessary
• Skills: �Use of good radiographic techniques to reduce radiation exposure to patient and personnel. �Good communication skills. �Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology (adult). �Be able to use hospital computer system. �Knowledge of filing system. �Ability to prepare procedure tray/equipment and maintain sterility �Knowledge of body techniques and ability to use good body mechanics. �Ability to initiate appropriate patient charge. �Proficiency in using Cath lab equipment. �Patient advocate skills.

• Licensure/Certifications: BLS from the American Heart Association ACLS from the American Heart Association Within 6 months of hire or transfer into the position, must be Registered
