Responsible for the care and maintenance of anesthesia equipment and the acquisition of necessary supplies. Assists the Anesthesiologist during the induction and delivery of anesthesia in collaboration with Operating Room staff.
$44.84 - $51.27 plus applicable shift differential
Job Summary The Anesthesia Technician is responsible for care and maintenance of anesthesia equipment and the acquisition of supplies for the anesthesia Department. The Anesthesia Technician has a working knowledge of drugs used in anesthesia and assists the Anesthesiologist during the induction and delivery of anesthesia. Works in cooperation and collaboration with the Operating Room staff.
In addition to performing the essential functions listed below, the Anesthesia Technician may also be assigned other duties as required.
Educational Requirements High school education or equivalent, required.
Work Experience Minimum of one year experience working as an Anesthesia Technician, required.
License & Certifications Current CPR certification, required.
Certified Anesthesia Technologist, preferred.
Skills & Abilities Functions effectively in emergency situations and assists the anesthesia and nursing staff as needed.
