To administer all forms of Respiratory Therapy, as well as becoming involved with consultations involving types of therapy administered, maintaining equipment, enforcing safety standards, and keeping departmental records.
An associate degree from an approved NBRC Program is required, along with BLS or ACLS certification. A license as a Respiratory Therapist in New Jersey is also necessary, with preferred experience of one to two years in the field.
