Working under the direct supervision of the lead tech, receives and processes case schedules, and performs other secretarial and clerical duties. Other duties may be assigned

Responsibilities

• 1.
• Receives, records, and reserves interventional radiology (IR) time.
• 2.
• Schedules IR time for BH IR and PAMC IR and other related departments.
• Will verify all fax and verbal bookings from physician and admitting offices in accordance with departmental guidelines as observed by supervisor and as indicated by feedback.
• 3.
• Performs similar or related duties as required or directed.
• 4.
• Performs other secretarial and clerical duties including quality assurance procedures/reports as directed and indicated by observation of supervisor.

Qualifications

• EDUCATION High school diploma or equivalent EXPERIENCE One year related experience preferred SPECIAL SKILLS Excellent interpersonal and initiative skill, typing and windows application proficiency required.
• Able to multitask between phone, computer and add on cases.
• PHYSICAL DEMAND While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear.
• They are frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
• They are occasionally required to sit.
• They must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
