The LCSW will provide evidence-based psychotherapy and crisis intervention for patients with various psychiatric diagnoses in a multidisciplinary outpatient setting. Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at Greenwich Hospital is seeking to employ a full-time clinical social worker with specialties in treating a spectrum of psychiatric diagnoses, including mood, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, and substance-related disorders. The clinical social worker will provide evidence-based and solution-focused treatments to patients with these and other clinical conditions, collaborating with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, psychologists and other providers in a multidisciplinary outpatient setting.
Master's Degree from an accredited school of social work.
Individuals with experience treating a broad spectrum of psychiatric conditions and working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical setting; training in cognitive-behavioral interventions; who embrace a biopsychosocial model of understanding and treating behavior and mental health; and are committed to program development are encouraged to apply.
