Description Hematology Oncology Associates of CNY (HOACNY), voted one of Central New York’s Best Places to Work, is looking for a full time Medical Oncologist/Hematologist to join our professional team. HOACNY provides cancer care services, Monday through Friday, day hours at three convenient locations in East Syracuse, Syracuse and Auburn. Specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of blood disorders and cancers. Core duties involve performing diagnostic tests, designing medication and therapy plans, and managing both malignant diseases (like leukemia) and benign blood conditions.

Maintains required practice RVU requirement and CME for certification. Maintain accurate medical records and comply with all regulatory requirements. Contribute to the growth and reputation of the practice through patient care excellence. Participate in tumor board discussions, collaborating with other providers to evaluate complex and optimize treatments strategies. Maintains strictest confidentiality. Performs related work as required. Attends required physician meetings, tumor boards and participates in HOACNY activities as requested. Maintains an understanding of financial and business parameters as well as legal issues surrounding the functions of a group practice. EDUCATION: MD or DO degree from accredited school of medicine and board- certified in Hematology and Oncology.Certificate/License: Actively licensed to practice medicine in the United States and in good standing with the medical board(s) in states issued licensure to practice medicine.
