The OR Scheduler is responsible for scheduling elective surgical procedures for the operating room, endoscopy, and anesthesia cases. Additional duties include assisting physicians and staff while maintaining a safe and orderly office environment.
Overview The OR Scheduler is responsible for scheduling elective surgical procedures for the operating room,endoscopy, and anesthesia only cases outside of the operating room, with the exception of labor anddelivery at Women’s and Children and the cath lab. Other responsibilities include assisting physiciansand staff as necessary, providing effective communication, maintaining a safe, orderly office environmentand assisting in the orientation of new staff.
A High School Diploma or GED is required for this position. The candidate must be able to provide effective communication and assist in the orientation of new staff.
