MercyOne Genesis is excited to welcome a BC/BE Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to our expanding team at our Level III Trauma Center. This is a rare opportunity to step into a new, rapidly growing orthopedic practice where your expertise, innovative mindset, and passion for trauma care will directly shape the future of the program.
We’re looking for a surgeon with strong training in orthopedic traumatology or adult reconstruction/total joints who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You’ll work on complex cases, enjoy strong system-wide support, and practice with the autonomy and resources you need to excel.

Work closely with trauma, anesthesia, orthopedics, and critical care in a setting designed for efficiency and exceptional outcomes.
Take on diverse, challenging cases supported by advanced technology and dedicated trauma OR blocks.
100% inpatient focus, Monday–Friday schedule, and a predictable call rotation.

Must be an MD or DO with fellowship training in Orthopedic Traumatology or Adult Reconstruction and be ABOS Board Certified or Eligible. Ability to obtain medical licenses in Iowa and Illinois is required.
