The CNA provides overnight patient care for individuals recovering from elective surgical procedures under the supervision of an RN. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, managing patient positioning, and maintaining the cleanliness and stock of recovery and operating rooms.
We have an exciting opportunity for a PRN overnight Certified Nursing Assistant to join our upscale plastic surgery center!
Assists with providing patient care to include I&Os, position changes, vital signs, and linen changes.
Stock recovery room carts, OR family waiting room and linen cabinet.
Clean, make beds in ORs, and wipe down all surfaces in ORs.
Current CNA license in the state of North Carolina or currently enrolled, in good standing, in a nursing program leading to eligibility to be licensed as a Registered Nurse.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
2 years of CNA experience.
Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Friendly and professional bedside manner.
Understand legal implications of patient care.
Candidates must hold a current North Carolina CNA license or be enrolled in a nursing program, along with a high school diploma or GED. A minimum of 2 years of CNA experience and a professional bedside manner are required.
