Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Full-Time | Monday – Friday | Onsite | Winchester, VA $83,000 – 96,000 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Provide therapeutic counseling, crisis intervention, and emotional support to patients and families.
  • Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized support plans.
  • Participate in distress screening follow-up, survivorship care, and advance care planning discussions.
  • Connect patients with financial, community, and supportive resources.
  • Serve as a patient advocate and help navigate healthcare and community systems.
  • Facilitate support groups and collaborate with community organizations.
  • Partner with providers and clinical staff to address psychosocial barriers to care.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program.
  • Current Virginia Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in good standing.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of clinical social work experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience in oncology, palliative care, hospice, behavioral health, or other medically complex patient populations preferred.
  • Experience facilitating support groups, patient education programs, or community-based support services.

Requirements

Requires a Master's degree in Social Work and a current Virginia LCSW license. A minimum of three years of clinical social work experience in a healthcare setting is required.
