The Imaging RN provides direct patient care for various imaging procedures including biopsies and injections across multiple modalities. They are responsible for assessing, planning, and evaluating nursing care while adhering to professional standards and regulatory guidelines.
The Imaging RN is responsible for direct patient care for patients undergoing breast biopsies, needle localizations, sentinel node injections, paracentesis, port access, thyroid FNA's and various procedures for mammography, CT, ultrasound, MRI and nuclear medicine.
