Registered Nurse (RN) Fellow Neuro ICU

• This fast-paced, team-driven environment focuses on high-quality care and professional development. Our nursing staff works closely with Neuro and Medical Intensivists, Interventionalists, Neurosurgeons and fellows, and APPs. Unit Details: An 18-bed adult unit treating complex neurological patients including (but not limited to):
• Ischemic & Hemorrhagic Strokes
• Intracranial Hemorrhages
• Seizures & Status Epilepticus
• Cerebral Edema & Secondary Brain Injury
• Brain Tumors
• Neuromuscular Disorders
• Post-interventional & neuro-surgical patients

Minimum Qualifications

Experience: 1 year of RN experience.

Education

BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate’s Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.

Certifications

BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification required (AHA).

Licensure: RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of RN experience Unit involvement.
