A homemaker/companion provide non-medical home care which include: bathing, dressing, meal preparation, medication reminder, companionship, transportation to client's doctor appointment, errands, and light housekeeping and so much more! Our goal is to help our senior clients remain as independent as possible wherever they call home.
We are hiring care providers who may have the skills and experience with Dementia, Hospice, Incontinence, Transfers-Hoyer, Gait, Slide Board.
The career requires your own vehicle to transport clients, valid Driver's License and vehicle insurance.
Our shift needs are all days of the week from Monday to Sunday: AM/PM and NOC (overnight)
Performs personal care activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to): Assist with Dressing/Grooming
Ambulation/Transfers: Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
Performs light housekeeping activities
Medication reminders
Care of bed-bound clients
Use lifting equipment such as Gait Belts, Slide Boards and Hoyer Lifts
