30pm or 1-9:30pm. No weekends, on-call or holidays!
The PACU RN plays a critical role in the recovery and care of patients undergoing orthopedic surgeries, including joint replacements, spinal surgeries, and arthroscopic procedures. This position involves close collaboration with anaesthesia professionals, physicians, and ancillary staff. The PACU RN manages a high patient volume, ensuring safety, comfort, and effective discharge teaching during the immediate postoperative period in a fast-paced outpatient surgical environment.
Candidates must hold a current NYS RN License along with BLS and ACLS certifications. One or more years of nursing experience with a focus on postoperative orthopedic care is preferred.
