Job Description

1. High School diploma required. Associates degree preferred. 2. Certification as an Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) JCAHPO is required. 3. Certification as an Ophthalmic Technician by JCAHPO is preferred. 4. Basic life support certification is required. 5. Prior pediatric experience strongly preferred. 6. Ability to effectively communicate with hospital & staff, patients, and families. 7. Knowledge of growth and development of infants, children, adolescent, adults and elderly patients in order to provide appropriate care. Education High School Diploma/GED (Required) Pay Range $26.25-$42.92 Hourly At Lurie Children’s, we are committed to competitive and fair compensation aligned with market rates and internal equity, reflecting individual contributions, experience, and expertise. The pay range for this job indicates minimum and maximum targets for the position. Ranges are regularly reviewed to stay aligned with market conditions.
