Akicita Federal is hiring General Dentists to deliver comprehensive oral healthcare services for the Indian Health Service at the Woodrow Wilson Keeble Memorial Health Care Center in Sisseton, South Dakota. Diagnose and treat a broad range of dental conditions for a diverse patient population, including restorative, preventive, and emergency dental care
Perform routine and complex dental procedures such as extractions, fillings, crowns, and root canals in accordance with established clinical standards
Conduct thorough oral health assessments, including examination of teeth, gums, and surrounding oral structures
Develop and communicate individualized treatment plans, educating patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies
Document patient encounters, treatment plans, and clinical findings accurately in the electronic health records system
Coordinate with dental assistants, hygienists, and other clinic staff to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care delivery
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and comply with all applicable federal, state, and clinic-specific healthcare standards and protocols \n
