About the role

Perform dental cleanings, scaling, root planing, and conduct oral health assessments. Educate patients on preventative care and maintain accurate patient records while following sterilization protocols.

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dental Hygienist (1099 Contractor) to support our growing practice. This is a great opportunity for a motivated hygienist who values flexibility and enjoys working in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

Responsibilities

Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing Conduct oral health assessments and document findings Take and review dental radiographs (X-rays) Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventative care Assist dentists with exams and treatment planning Maintain accurate and timely patient records Follow infection control and sterilization protocols

Qualifications

Active Dental Hygienist license in Nevada Current CPR/BLS certification Strong knowledge of dental procedures and patient care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently as a contractor Compensation & Benefits Competitive 1099 compensation Flexible scheduling Opportunity for ongoing contract work Supportive and professional team environment Important Note This is a 1099 independent contractor position, not a W-2 employee role. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and licensure requirements.

Requirements

Must hold an active Dental Hygienist license in Nevada and a current CPR/BLS certification. Requires strong knowledge of dental procedures and the ability to work independently as a 1099 contractor.
