Requirements: Persons with cardiac pacemakers, internal cardiac defibrillators, brain aneurysm clips, or cochlear implants are precluded from working in the MRI environment. Manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination for operation and repair of all departmental equipment. Lifts and carries items weighing up to 30 pounds; lifts and appropriately positions patients weighing up to 300 pounds. Requires eyesight correctable to 20/20 to operate equipment and review developed films. Exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations, and other conditions common to a clinic environment.
