About the role

Provide direct care, supervision, and therapeutic support to adolescent girls in a residential treatment program. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living skills, implementing treatment plans, and managing crisis situations using trauma-informed responses.

Arisa Health is seeking candidates to fill Mental Health Technician positions at Haven, a residential program for girls in Conway, AR. Mental Health Technicians provide direct care, supervision, and therapeutic support to adolescent girls ages 12-18 residing in a Qualified Residential Treatment Program (QRTP). This role is essential in creating a safe, structured, trauma-informed environment that promotes emotional regulation, skill development, and healing from complex trauma.

College students who are currently studying psychology or a related field are encouraged to apply. Candidates must be at least 21 years old.

This position is classified as full-time, non-exempt (hourly).

Work Hours

Monday - Friday; 7:00am - 3:30pm (40 hours) This position is eligible for shift differential.

What you will do as a Mental Health Technician at Arisa Health

  • Provide 24-7 supervision
  • Assist with daily living skills, routines, cooking, and personal hygiene
  • Support implementation of individualized treatment plans
  • Assist with de-escalation of crisis situations using trauma-informed responses
  • Transporting clients to appointments, school, activities, etc.
  • Attend weekly staff meetings
  • Daily/nightly shift reports

What we look for in a Mental Health Technician

  • High School Diploma or GED is required
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • Valid driver's license is required
  • Good computer skills
  • The ability to organize and prioritize
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and climb stairs
  • Must be comfortable sitting at a desk and typing frequently
  • Must be able to work in a team setting and independently
