The Rehab Technician is responsible for direct and indirect patient care duties under the direct supervision of a PT, PTA, OT, COTA, TR, or Speech Pathologist.
Duties are a combination of direct patient contact activities and support services such as scheduling, filing, stocking supplies, tracking data, equipment maintenance, cleaning, treatment set-up and take-down.
The Rehab Tech helps to ensure smooth and efficient treatment of patients under a therapist’s supervision, participates in program development and enhances skills.
Although this position is designated for a particular area/site, depending on patient needs and departmental circumstances, the associate may need to work in otherareas.
Job Requirements In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: Highschool or GED Required Previous OT and PT rehab tech experience in an IP and OP environment.
Experience working with orthopedic, neurological and medical patients.
Previous medical terminology or background education in related field.
Shift- 8:30am-5pm
