About the role

Perform various echocardiograms and vascular exams, including TEE and Carotid Duplex. Prepare preliminary reports and assist cardiothoracic surgeons during interoperative procedures.

Essential Job Duties

  • 1.
  • Performs Echocardiograms, Transesophageal Echos (TEE), and Stress Echocardiograms.
  • 2.
  • Performs upper and lower extremity Arterial and Venous exams.
  • 3.
  • Performs Carotid Duplex exams.
  • 4.
  • Assimilates data for digital transfer and interpretation by completing calculations and preparing preliminary reports for the interpreting physician.
  • 5.
  • Assists Cardiothoracic Surgeon with interoperative Transesophageal Echos.
  • 6.
  • Maintains required education for Echo/Vascular accreditation.
  • 7.
  • Completes other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

Preferably a graduate of an approved Cardiovascular or Vascular Technology school with RDCS or RVT certification. Requires a minimum of 2 years of clinical cardiology or vascular experience.
