Coordinates, prepares, and administers radiation therapy treatments and simulation procedures. Ensures all duties are performed in compliance with Federal, State, and Joint Commission radiation safety standards.
Under the direction of the Lead Radiation Therapist, Radiation Oncology Manager, Physicist, and Radiation Oncologists and with latitude for independent judgment, performs all the professional duties involved in coordinating, preparing and administering radiation therapy treatments and simulation procedures within appropriate radiation safety practices. Acts in compliance with Federal, State, and Joint Commission standards. Performs duties under minimum supervision.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. Requires national certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and California state certification in therapeutic radiologic technology. Experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
