Primary responsibility is to safely deliver the prescribed course of radiation therapy and perform simulation and planning techniques according to procedure. Operates radiotherapy and radiologic equipment for the treatment of patients and produces radiography (x-rays) of the body for treatment planning purposes. Is also responsible for undertaking dosimetric calculations and is required to fabricate all aspects of lead blocks for treatment purposes.
Licensure/Credentials
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) R.T.(T) credential required.
Washington State Radiologic Technologist Certification required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
