About the role

The OTA is responsible for direct patient care and implementing specific treatment programs under the direction of an Occupational Therapist. They must be flexible to meet the needs of various facilities within the PAM Health system.

We are looking for an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team and care for our diverse patient population.

The ideal candidate will have prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.

Responsibilities

The Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA), under the direction of the Occupational Therapist, is responsible for direct patient care, planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy in the PAM Health system. The Occupational Therapy Assistant/Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant must be flexible to meet the needs of the system within many different facilities. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. #LI-EC1

Qualifications

Education and Training: Licensed as OTA in the state where the hospital or clinic resides. Current BLS certification required.

Experience

One year of clinical experience preferred. Requirements

Candidates must be a licensed OTA in the state of employment and hold a current BLS certification. One year of clinical experience is preferred.
