The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will manage the health care of patient populations in specialty services, including inpatient rounding and call obligations. They will develop treatment plans and provide care for acute and chronic illnesses under the direction of a collaborating physician.

Role Purpose Manages acute and chronic illnesses, performs assessments, procedures, interprets diagnostic studies, and initiates treatment plans both within an ambulatory practice and in a hospital setting within the scope of a given procedural specialty (i.e., Cardiology, Vascular Surgery, Ortho, and Post-Acute). Navigates high-acuity cases within the scope of a formal physician collaborative practice agreement.

A Master's Degree in Nursing is required, with less than 2 years of experience preferred. A Doctorate in Nursing and 2-5 years of experience are preferred qualifications.
