Orlando Health Watson Clinic Lakeland Highlands Hospital – a state-of-the-art, seven-story, multi-specialty hospital – will serve as a vital 550,000 square-foot healthcare hub offering: 300+ inpatient beds and 69 emergency and observation beds 11 operating rooms and four cardiac interventional suites Dedicated labor and delivery services – including a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) that will debut shortly after the hospital opens Comprehensive cardiovascular, neurology, and oncology services Advanced surgical procedures We are seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses to join our growing Perioperative Services team.

This opportunity is designed to connect with experienced and aspiring perioperative nurses interested in roles throughout the surgical continuum, including the Operating Room (OR), Pre-Operative (PreOp), Perioperative Services, and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).

Responsibilities

Deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care throughout the surgical experience. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure outstanding patient outcomes. Monitor patient condition and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status. Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery expectations, and discharge instructions. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. Promote patient safety, infection prevention, and quality improvement initiatives. Support a positive, team-oriented environment focused on exceptional patient care.

Requirements

Requires a Registered Nurse license and expertise in perioperative services. Candidates should be skilled in patient assessment, monitoring, and surgical support.
