What we are looking for: The Village Family Service Center is seeking a full-time North Dakota Licensed Addiction Counselor to join the dedicated team at First Step Recovery. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting individuals and families impacted by addiction and who values working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Primary responsibilities include facilitating Adolescent Intensive Outpatient groups, completing treatment planning and documentation, providing individual sessions, conducting evaluations, participating in rounds and staffings, and assisting with team coverage as needed. At First Step Recovery, you will be part of a supportive and mission-driven team committed to helping clients make meaningful progress in their recovery. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude who appreciates working alongside a close-knit team and who is motivated by the opportunity to make a lasting impact in the lives of others. While our clients are always our priority, we also value and support our staff by promoting a healthy work environment, professional collaboration, and ongoing growth. Qualified candidates must hold a valid North Dakota addiction counseling license in good standing. Candidates who are currently licensed as a Minnesota LADC are also encouraged to apply, as we are willing to assist with the process of obtaining North Dakota licensure. We are also open to working with candidates licensed in other states to explore potential pathways toward North Dakota licensure. What We Offer

Requirements

Candidates must hold a valid North Dakota addiction counseling license in good standing. Those licensed in Minnesota or other states are encouraged to apply and may be assisted with North Dakota licensure.
