Charles Campus is a leading New York hospital for acute inpatient rehabilitation, with more than half a century of service to Long Islanders.

Nearly 80 hospital beds are dedicated to inpatient acute rehabilitation, more than any other hospital on Long Island.

Patients are often admitted for acute inpatient rehabilitation with the following conditions or diagnosis: amputation, brain injury, cardiac or pulmonary conditions, hip fracture, neurological conditions, orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, stroke, spinal cord injury, or traumatic injury/fractures.

Job Details

Our Acute Rehab Registered Nurses (RNs) will

  • Assess, monitor, administer medication, document progress, and overall management of care for the Rehab patient population Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, Registered Nurses (RNs), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction. Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support, and education.
  • What you’ll bring: Passion for Rehab Nursing 1+ Years of working RN experience New Grad RNs may be considered Previous Subacute Rehab, long term care, nursing home, or acute care experience preferred
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required or currently enrolled in a

Salary Range

Usd $54.97 - Usd $64.20 /Hr.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.

Requirements

Requires a New York Registered Nurse license, BLS certification, and a BSN degree (or current enrollment in a BSN program). Candidates should have 1+ years of RN experience, though new graduates may be considered.
