Under the directive of Physician orders and Department Management, delivers patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation, adhering to GGC policies and procedures.
Effectively interacts with patients, patient's family member/s, Physicians, ancillaries, and clinic-wide staff while maintaining standards of professional nursing for each practice and specialty.
Must be flexible between departments and willing to travel among GGC facilities to provide nursing coverage.
EMR Documentation.
Assists with patient/family teaching and planning.
Prepare and clean equipment for medical treatments.
Clerical roles included
Monitoring, cleaning, stocking exam rooms
Maintain safe and therapeutic patient care environment.
As expected with all healthcare positions, must adhere to HIPAA/OSHA/BLOODBORNE PATHOGEN regulations and maintain associated workplace trainings.
Other duties as necessary/assigned within scope of practice.
Must be a Registered Nurse capable of floating between different departments and facilities. Requires adherence to HIPAA, OSHA, and Bloodborne Pathogen regulations.
