Performs mammography (and X-ray/fluoro as applicable) using proper positioning, technique selection, and equipment protocols.
Ensures accurate patient identification, reviews orders/requisitions, and documents history in compliance with American College of Radiology standards.
Operates and manages imaging systems (RIS/PACS), verifying image quality, proper labeling, and successful transmission.
Maintains strict quality assurance and radiation safety practices, including ALARA principles and regulatory compliance.
Delivers safe, professional patient care while managing workflow, documentation, supplies, and coordination with other modalities.
